Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher – Blended

This course provides knowledge, strategies, and skills training to prepare individuals to be a successful lead child care teacher.

Training Details and Requirements
• This 50-hour course (15 in virtual meetings and 35 web-based) is being offered in a blended format, which means there will be a mix of Zoom virtual training meetings and independent web-based work. In addition to virtual meetings with an instructor, work will be assigned and completed on an online Learning Management System called ECExplorer.
• Participants must attend every virtual meeting date and complete all assigned web-based work with an 80% grade or higher by Thursday, May 21, 2026 to successfully complete the course and earn Registry credit.
• Participants must have a computer, laptop, or tablet and reliable internet access to complete the web-based work and join the virtual meetings.
Registered participants will receive a welcome email with more information about the course on Thursday, February 26, 2026. This welcome email will also help you gain access to the web-based work on ECExplorer. Be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you have not received any email communication by the end of that day.
