Have you ever read a story about gardening to children, planted a seed in a cup full of soil, or visited a pumpkin patch? You may not realize it, but you are probably already doing farm to early care and education (farm to ECE) activities at your center.

Please complete this 2017 Wisconsin Farm to Early Care and Education Survey, even if you have never conducted farm to ECE activities before. Click this link to access the survey: http://go.wisc.edu/uc3v55

The purpose of this 10-minute survey is to learn about the farm to ECE activities at your site, your successes and challenges, and the resources that can help your programs grow and be accessible to all children in Wisconsin. We appreciate your input through the survey whether you are a farm to ECE expert or new to the concept. We seek responses from owners, administrators, and staff at ECE sites of all types across the state.

When you complete the survey, you will receive $50 worth of vouchers for Organic Valley dairy, egg, meat, produce, or soy products. Please complete the survey by Tuesday, October 17th to receive your Organic Valley vouchers.

This survey is conducted by the Wisconsin Farm to ECE Work Group, a collaboration of state agencies, non-profits, local health departments, providers, and other experts in early childhood, gardening and agriculture.

Please contact Vanessa Herald (UW-CIAS) with any questions or concerns about the survey. 608-263-6064 / This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
