Friday May 8, 2015 is a special day to recognize child care providers, teachers and other educators of young children everywhere. Started in 1996 by a group of volunteers in New Jersey, Provider Appreciation Day is appropriately celebrated each year on the Friday before Mother's Day. The founding organizers saw the need to recognize the tireless efforts of providers who care for children of working parents. Momentum and support for this event has grown each year and recognition presently includes individuals and government organizations throughout the United States.  CCR&R would like to say THANK YOU to all of our valued child care professionals by offering a FREE book for regulated family and group child care programs in Calumet, Green Lake, Outagamie, Waupaca and Winnebago Counties.  Click HERE to print the FREE BOOK coupon and bring it in to CCR&R during our library hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 and 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday May 18 & Monday June 22, 2015. National Child Care Provider Appreciation Day is brought to you by Child Care Resource and Referral, Inc., Kimberly and Child Care Aware® of America.
